End Date

When an Element is closed, it is End-Dated and removed from the current view. To view an End Dated Network Element set the Effective Date to a date that precedes the Close Operation.

End Date

Click the End Date button to open the End Date dialog. The dialog contains the end- date, which defaults to today's date. The End Date is mandatory.

When end-dating certain network elements, you might be able to specify reason for the end dating. A Maintain History switch may be present, allowing you to maintain the history of the end-dated element.
